Kemble Aylett Wins The Awards

The Market City Tavern in suburban Perth was the venue for the West Australian Super Sedan Awards night, held on Saturday evening.

In his first season of competition in Western Australia, former Tasmanian, Kemble Aylett won the major awards, finishing on top points for both the Heat races and Feature races.

The result of both awards was the same all the way back to fourth place, with two times State Champion, Marc Giancola finishing second in both awards, as did Troy Brook, who finished third in both point scores, while Carnarvon's Peter Lyall would finish fourth.

There could be not much argument, with Troy Brook winning the Best Presented car award, for the presentation of his fire engine red Monaro, while the drivers own award, the "Drivers- Driver" award was also won by Kemble Aylett.

The WA Super Sedan fraternity have had a big year with the National Title the obvious highlight. The division will have a brief rest period before the Northern swing kicks off the new season when the Northwest Super Sedan Series commences.
